Surrounded by his beloved wife, Anne Young-Lospinoso and those he referred to as his “Angels”, Albert Henry Lospinoso departed this earth on November 27, 2017. Born on February 13, 1931 in Elizabeth, NJ, Albert is survived by his four children: Theodore and his wife Christine, Maurice and his wife Mary, Tracy and her husband Charles, and David and his wife Stacie, brother, Maurice and his wife Arlene, sister, Mary Ottaviano and her husband Anthony, as well as 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Albert is a Korean War Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed for 36 years by the Prudential Insurance Company as a Sales Manager/Agent, retiring in 1992. Among his many interests; Albert was an avid sports fan, community volunteer, world traveler, music lover and excellent cook. An active volunteer at his church, St. John The Apostle in Clark, as well as the Linden Food Pantry. A long-time Boston Red Socks fan, Ted Williams was his all-time favorite player. Albert enjoyed trying his luck in Atlantic City and at the Sands in Bethlehem, PA. Albert enjoyed the music of the Big-Band Era, particularly Frank Sinatra. At home in the kitchen, Albert was a frequent cook for family and friends. Visiting religious sites, he traveled to numerous places in Poland, Israel, Medjugorje, Croatia and Italy.
